Crops are grown indoors, without sun or soil, illuminated by LED lighting, with the plants hanging in air & fed by a nutrient rich mist.

AGRA's approach significantly reduces the farm's physical hardware, utilises a proprietary reusable growing media, five new machines for automated farm operation & a combination of new lighting technologies to radically reduce both construction & operating costs to enable large-scale developer-led deployments (similar to solar).
